Historical Walking Tour

Walking in Arlington is delighted to sponsor a historical
walking tour of East Arlington's "Hendersonville" neighborhood
led by noted local historian Richard A. Duffy,
author of Images of Arlington
and Twentieth Century Reflections.
The tour will encompass Henderson and Teel
Streets, the Alewife Brook reservation area and Saint Paul's
Cemetery.
The walk will be moderately strenuous and will cover
several miles. Some sites and areas covered have good stroller and
wheelchair access and some do not.
Don't forget the change back to eastern standard time and please,
no pets.
The walk will be held rain or shine, except in the case
of very harsh weather. Please call 781-648-4477 between
9am and 12pm on the day of the walk in case
of questionable weather.
The walk is limited to 40 people, so pregistration
by October 20th is necessary.
The cost is $6.00 per adult,
$3.00 per child. A portion of the pproceeds will go to support
the work of the Arlington Historical Society.
